Manchester-Based M247 Acquire Fellow Web-Hosting Company Red Fox

British-based company M247 has acquired fellow web-hosts Red Fox just one month after its acquisition of ICT support business Axamba.

The deal, which was made for an undisclosed sum, will bring Red Fox over to their new owner’s headquarters in Manchester, where M247 will delegate the skills of their technical support team to ensure satisfaction for Red Fox’s customers.

Along with this, Red Fox will look to benefit from involvement in a large operation with “growth plans extending well into the future for its two datacentres.” according to M247.

The former owner of Red Fox joins the M247 team, Warren Ashcroft, will also be moving to Manchester along with a large portion of their technical team and commented on the move describing the connection between the two hosting firms as a “positive relationship.”

“I’ve watched them grow at an impressive rate and, after considering a number of growth opportunities, only M247 shone out as the best option for the good of my customers and for the business and personal development opportunities presented to me for a secure future,” he added.

M247 Managing Director David Buckle spoke of the appointment of Ashcroft claiming his experience and ability will benefit M247, “We welcome Warren’s contribution to our company. His technical ability is highly respected and he brings with him approximately 20000 successful websites which M247 will now host and support,” he said.

“Warren is a very personable individual with skills that will be important to our future. His success with Red Fox customers will assist greatly in his roll to manage our shared hosting brands”.
Red Fox’s clientele were informed of the acquisition the day before the announcement, along with reassurances regarding the move which Ashcroft tagged as being “the best option for the good of my customers.”
