Good step up when a small VPS becomes restrictive
As the number of websites and supporting tools in a project grows, it becomes increasingly inconvenient to keep everything on a very small VPS. I experienced this with some of my work for SvitLoft, so I moved to the Bastion [USA] plan at IWIHOST. The server provides 4 vCores, 8 GB ECC RAM and 70 GB NVMe storage for $14.99 per month. What convinced me to choose Bastion was the balance between the CPU, memory and storage. I did not need an extremely powerful machine, but I wanted enough room to run several processes simultaneously. The 8 GB of RAM gives me considerably more flexibility for SEO tools, website environments and background services. NVMe storage is also a plus when working with databases and files. I would describe Bastion as a sensible middle-tier VPS: it is not the cheapest option, but it provides enough resources to avoid the limitations of entry-level plans while keeping the monthly cost manageable.

Pretty solid for an online store
The main reason I switched to IWIHOST was the usual shared hosting nonsense, too many limits and not enough control, with the VPS I can install what I need and configure the environment around my store, the site has been running smoothly and I don't have to ask support every time I want to change something.

Better fit than dedicated hosting
One of the best things about IWIHOST for me is that I can actually build the environment around the project, rather than changing the project to fit the hosting plan, picked the OS, installed the packages I needed and configured everything myself, performance has been good and the server feels responsive.

First VPS Experience
IWIHOST was one of the providers I considered when moving from shared hosting to my first VPS. I was initially concerned that the setup would be difficult, but the basic deployment was not particularly complicated. Having Vesta Control Panel included also made some routine tasks easier. At the same time, I still have root access when I need to configure something manually. There is definitely more to learn compared with shared hosting, but the additional control has been useful for my project.

Solid VPS for a work project
I’m currently hosting a few small projects on IWIHOST; everything is running smoothly so far. The server is stable, resources are sufficient, and I haven’t encountered any issues with files or databases. Plus, it’s convenient to have a choice of locations, allowing me to pick the right option for each specific project.
